I'm SO Horrible!!!

This was taken about a week ago from our balcony here in downtown. What made me take this picture was the lonely little cloud out there in the distance. I thought it so humorous and first, but then there was something poetic about it. (Wow, did I just say that?!) Granted, there are other clouds yes, but this was the only fluffy white cotton ball one. (Forgive my lack of scientific knowledge of cloud names..Cumulonimbus and all that.) Innywho, I thought it was a neat picture with the way the sun was setting too.

So, my attempt (or lack thereof) to take a picture every day has been kicking my butt!
I started working nearly every day out of nowhere which threw me off. My pictures sadly would only be of work work work! There is absolutely NO fun in that.
So...I'm really going to try to keep this up. Maybe I should change the title to just..pictures of my life..Semi-daily. (Ha)
I thought it would be so easy like last time..then I remembered the last time I did this was 4 years ago, in HS for an English Project. I wasn't working, wasn't in a relationship, and was not living on my own. Little did I know how all those little things would play a big factor in my free time!!
Lord knows what throwing a kid in there will be like! Agh I salute all you Momma's out there!!!
So today is just a day to vent and say OOPS for not posting pictures.
From now on, it will be..whatever strikes me to take a picture of it, will be posted. I might be a few days late posting it, but bet your bottom dollar I'll get back on it!!!

Day 9 (Memorial Day)

Well in light of today, this seems appropriate. Granted it isn't a picture, but that's only because the festivities haven't begone!! I will post more pictures later as usual.
We need to take time to remember those who have fought and sacrificed all for us so that we may have our BBQ's and enjoy our time together. Today is the time to remember not only those who have gone before us, but the families that have lost their loved ones. This is our time to honor them as well. We must not forget those who have paved the way for our freedom.

Day 8

Well judging by the scenery around it, and the lack of cars...how much you want to bet it's closed!! I stopped to get gas a little ways out of town and saw this building next to the gas station. So when I looked closer, I saw the sign for an Army Navy store. Which I always think is hilarious that they combine the two!! lol Innywho, there were no cars at all at the surplus store and it was after 10 that I went. I figured it would have been open!

Day 6 & 7

Day 6
We went to a park here off Rice Street which is so gorgeous. It's along this huge lake, along a golf course, so many other parks along it, and gorgeous birds and trees. I thought this was cute. We actually found it this way too which was cute. They're usually all messed up and not what you would think for tic-tac-toe lol However, this also reminds me of XOXO.
Innywho, I was intrigued so I took the picture!!

Day 7
This is from our visit to the Minnesota State Zoo & Aquarium.
This dolphin was SO curious the whole time. I took about 8 snapshots of this dolphin who always came back to the same window and just "hovered" there if you will.
Occasionally a second one would swim by as well. So neat!! I absolutely love aquariums.

So I'm a horrible person!!

I got so incredibly busy and missed Fri, and Sat!!

I will post them here now.

Day 5

So speaking of weather. Turning out to be such a strange day. The view was gorgeous, just very eerie is all. This is the view from my Pop's place. He's off at Ft. Lewis playing soldier, and needs a cat-sitter while he's away. I suppose this could be another way how the military affects me. This is probably the 3rd time I've had to take care of his place this month alone. Yet, I love doing it. He did so much for my mom and myself growing up that I feel obligated (but gladly) to help him out with whatever he needs. My mom had hoped that when he took the SRAAG job, he wouldn't be traveling nearly as much. Yet, he leaves nearly every other week. She's definitely ready for him to get out. She misses him that's for sure. I have so much respect and admiration for all she's gone through as a mil spouse. She herself was an Army brat growing up and therefor knows both ends as I do now. She always told me about Somalia and how all they had were letters. Nothing but letters. Some months she only received one. I can't imagine how war would be these days without the technology we have.
This picture is just a mirroring of the mood lately.
Just gotta look to the sunset to know tomorrow will be hopefully be better.

Mil Appreciation Night @ Saints Game-Pictures

Day 4

So after a couple days of strange weather and yesterday being SO hot..I thought it'd be neat to post this picture.
We've always loved our downtown apt. view because of all the people watching we get to do...
This however has to be one of the coolest views we've had since living here.
I haven't seen rainbow's like that since being stationed in Hawaii.
You can almost see two rainbows.
They were those huge arch ones too which was extremely gorgeous to look at.
Wonder what tomorrow will bring?!

Day 3

So this picture wasn't exactly taken...
The reason for this picture is because tonight I'm going to a St. Paul Saints baseball game!
Myself, Antonio, and my parents will be attending.
It's Military Appreciation night so there were great deals...and obviously great company.
I'll probably come back to this post and add pictures from the game though..so don't fret.
Reminds me of America's favorite pastime.
Hot Dogs, Beer, Peanuts, Cotton Candy, Pretzels, and a good ole game of Baseball.
Life does not get much better than that folks.

Day 2

So Day 2 is a pretty obvious picture. We went to the park and it was FREEZING outside.
I can't believe it's the middle of May and in the 50's.
Only in Minnesota!!
I decided to use this picture just because it reminds me to laugh.
Things can get pretty hectic and we often lose sight of the little things.
Making silly adolescent faces and having fun are the best little things out there.

Day One-365 Day Project

This is baby Kendall.
She is my brand new niece of almost 2 months.
I decided to use her as my day 1 for numerous reasons.
First is because I just found out that I'm an Aunt.
Second is because he is my older brothers little girl.
Finally, I just spoke to my older brother for the first time in 10 years 3 days ago.
With all of this being such a miracle, why not start off with one?!
